NO FAIR! I'm devoted (though not uncritically) to Durang, and yet I've never been able to see a production of that play! <br /><br />It's great fun, for sure (just recall the Hollywood production number "We're in a Salad," with a verse in Pig Latin); but like such shows as Follies, it uses the pop culture images to say something about how the American self-image has changed. And the original Bway cast included Swoosie Kurtz as "Eve" (Arden) and Brent Spiner as "Hank" (Fonda).
